Be sure to do a friendly follow up to make sure they got to review the info and ask what they thought about it…and then help them get started any way reasonably possible…there is nothing more important than another warm body with desire on you marketing team. This includes in person and over the phone.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;We can basically be approaching just about anyone. There in no one right way. However, this is strategy that will make your approaches easier and more effective.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Two different market categories we will consider include our warm market and our cold market.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The warm market is everyone you can write down on an initial list, usually about 1-200 people. This is what you call you "launch briefing" where you invite everyone you know to a briefing of some sort to get a personal overview of the program you are presenting.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;What we do to most effectively earn income in Pre Paid Legal is &lt;b&gt;WE PROMOTE EXPOSURES TO THE COMPANY AND OUR MESSAGES.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In other words, every day, every week, every month and even every year, we take forms of exposure and heavily promote them to our "master list".&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This includes different phases. Phase 1 is list building, phase 2 is lead cultivation, phase 3 is repeat exposure, phase 4 is the closing.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;We want to divide that up into percentages. 4 phases in 4 equal parts. Spend about 25% of your time on each.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Whether we talk to someone in person or over the phone, the approach is essentially the same.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The approach should go something like this, which may very just a little from warm market to cold market prospects.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;When you approach something or call someone, just say...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;"Oh yes, hello sir/maam...yes hi, my name is _____________, I'm a recruiting assistant for a legal network. A marketer is someone who plans the entire process of how a product or service will reach the "market place".&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;b&gt;They don't call to talk to their upline&lt;/b&gt; - They think their upline is too busy to work with them or doesn't want to hear from them or is tired of helping them. They fail to see how much their upline is actually sitting there waiting for their call. They fail to see how they're upline is actually they're servant.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;b&gt;They try to reinvent the wheel&lt;/b&gt; - Can you imagine going to the doctors office and then telling the doctor how to treat patients after the doctor has been successfully treating patients for years? Would you want to spend another thousand years learning how to start a fire or make a wheel? No ... learn from someone who already knows how start a fire for best results. &lt;b&gt;It's called mentorship!&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;b&gt;They vastly underestimate the number of people they are going need to talk to&lt;/b&gt; - They try to beg a few people to join their business and when any of them actually sign up and they don't do anything and the marketer gets disappointed and may give up.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;b&gt;They don't save EVERY LEAD and they don't treat every contact as a lead&lt;/b&gt; - Bottom line is they don't have a clue about list marketing. When someone is not interested. We often assume they will never be interested.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;b&gt;They prejudge leads and prospects&lt;/b&gt; - They think that certain people will be interested and other people won't with very little understanding of the randomness of the situation. The fact is, you simply can not tell who will want to start a business at any given time. You are just a messenger, not a qualifier or salesperson. Getting prospects to join your business is like having a pile of sand with iron filings. If you try to individually pick out every iron filing with a pair of tweezers, it would take forever, but if you just take a strong magnet and run it over the top of the pile, virtually all of the iron filings will be "pulled" from within the pile of sand.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;b&gt;They try to sell&lt;/b&gt; - They think that they are good closers. They may have done some hard telephone or in person direct sales. They may have sold cars or vacuums or home improvement or whatever. So they think they need to be talking to someone for a while till they "close" them when in reality, they need to simply "sift" quickly through a high number of people and get permission to give them some information.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt; &lt;b&gt;They try to do everything themselves&lt;/b&gt; - They don't let their business become system dependent. Just take people out of the marketplace and into your system...it's like a processing plant. You just do one simple, repetative part of the entire process and you do it very well. You open up leads of 3 way calls or you simply do nothing but invite contacts to local business briefings or you simply ask people for permission to send them information. Just repeat any one of those processes in high quantity and you're gauranteed success...and always just act as an "assistant to your upline".&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;b&gt;They let negative people talk them out of success&lt;/b&gt; - Too often people take the advice of someone who's never made any significant money with anything. A person like that should be humble and realize that if they never made say even $1,000 in a week, they probably have nothing more than some basic job experience. This is a business...not a job!&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;b&gt;They expect things to happen overnight&lt;/b&gt; - They get discouraged quickly and easily. They don't see how their business is like a tree that, although it can start out as a tiny seedling, with the right nourishment, it can grow to become a redwood giant. Every giant needs a ramping up period and just a huge farmland, the crops must vegetate and even bloom before they can be harvested. Your business is no different.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;b&gt;They blame poor results on external reasons&lt;/b&gt; - There's always some reason that's "beyond their control" that keeps them from success. In reality many of those things are not beyond control. It's all about planning. You hear all types of excuses. Bottom line is anyone can make 1 hour of diligent phone calls a day. That's all you need to start!&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;b&gt;They plan to wait till the time is just right &lt;/b&gt;- Fact is, there will never be a perfect time. You need to make a reasonable block of time that you can do consistently, even if it's just 1 hour of diligent calling per day and move it up from there. Everything else will fall into place!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Brand yourself and your name and you will become successful, but you must work hard as well. That means building your contact base fast and hard. In the beginning, just cold call any reasonable numbers you can and just do it with the mindset of only a set block of time even if its just 30 minutes of actual dialing time, daily!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Don't get me wrong, if you're serious, you want to think in minimums of at least 1-4 hours a day or more. But don't take it in too big of bites, especially in the beginning, because you will find that if you work long on it and don't get immediate results, you can get discouraged, but often times a short, dedicated sprint for the day is a lot more effective.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;DO EVERYTHING YOU CAN....at the same time, remember, you are planting seeds that may not grow for a few days, weeks or even months. Trees don't grow overnight. They take nurturing environments with just the right kind of stresses and watering, heck plants grow differently based on the music they hear...if you're familiar with that experiment, you know that it is literally true.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So suggest listening to whatever nurtures your motivation level and your desire, your will power. These are one's I personally use. Remember, you can easily print up documents and change information around to your liking in any way reasonably possible. Always be the new guy or the recruiting assistant for your upline&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;2. Never claim to know everything about your business, always be the new guy.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;3. Say "curiosity building statements" that gets prospect to ask you question.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;4. Instead of answering their questions, instead say something like "You know, that is an excellent question and I wouldn't want to accidentally give you a wrong answer... in fact, I might have someone who knows about that...and if you just give me a quick moment, let me just see if he's available to give me an answer on that... if you just hold on the line for a moment, I'll just see if he's available....however it may take a moment, so don't hang up...just hold tight and I'll be right back with you, hopefully with an answer.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;5. Make sure your prospect has heard or gotten at least some kind of general information before you go after the 3 way call....you're job is just to warm them up and then introduce them to your upline....gently but assuredly and professionally.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;6. Remember to always be gentle and professional in every way.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;7. Always edify your upline partner, make them sound like a great person that you are so grateful to have around because of their knowledge.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;8. Introduce your upline and your new prospect with full names and explain just briefly what the questions/concerns are, but always be careful to only talk about objections that can be overcome... We never know who will be interested.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: black;"&gt;We build a permanent list of contacts, cultivating additional information like email, fax number, skills and any other relevant information.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: black;"&gt;We constantly keep a heavy influx of new people calling/emailing in wanting information in response to a curiosity based advertisement that can be in a number of different forms, this is our marketing.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: black;"&gt;We respond to any inquiries as soon as possible and we simply get the email or fax so that we can send out the information. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;W&lt;span style="color: black;"&gt;e get a commitment from the prospect to review the information and we let them know we will be touching base with them with about 2-3 days just to make sure they got to see the information.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: black;"&gt;We send them a brief, enticing sizzle tool...such as a corporate video or pre recorded call.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: black;"&gt;We follow up and simply ask right away if they would like to get started. It don't have to be pushy, it can be friendly, no pressure.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: black; font-weight: bold;"&gt;We never underestimate the number of people you will need to talk to.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: black;"&gt;The more people receiving the information the better.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: black;"&gt;We contact new prospects about our product or business for at least 1 diligent hour per day...and remember, it does take work!&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: black;"&gt;We treat it like a serious telemarketing job while we are actually working. In other words, we make goals and achieve them. We make goals like dialing say 50 phone numbers or having say 3-5 good conversations.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: black;"&gt;We don't expect to be great overnight, we understand that we need to train. To earn professional incomes, we have to read professional materials and listen to professionals speak.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: black;"&gt;We not only listen to the greatest salespeople, we also copy them word for word, nuance for nuance. We simply copy the voice tone, speech and wording of the masters such as Donald Trump or Jim Rohn for example.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: black;"&gt;We heavily invite people to company business briefings and events. If we have a local meeting, we attend that meeting every week and we try to participate in at least a small part of the meeting.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: black;"&gt;If we have no meeting in our area, we hold a small local meeting at say a coffee shop like Starbucks for instance. We invite as many people as we can to meet with us and we use a basic flip chart to give a basic presentation.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: black;"&gt;We maintain integrity and we treat every invitation like an appointment. We understand that many appointments will fall through, we expect the best results, but we prepare for the worst.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: black; font-weight: bold;"&gt;We never underestimate the number of people we will need to talk to!!&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: black;"&gt;We use and explore our products whenever possible to know everything about them and how to save money with them.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: black;"&gt;We learn every detail there is about our compensation plan and our bonus structure. When it comes to compensation, knowledge is power.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: black;"&gt;We visualize and plan out the process of enroll new customers. Unless you are taught a proven technique by someone who already knows what they are doing, it may be a long time if you ever figure out how to make fire by yourself.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;And just like starting a fire with sticks, starting a network marketing business takes some serious determination and a focus on technique, however if you read and studied a proven method and you learned and duplicated every little nuance and then applied it consistently, wouldn't that drastically increase the odds that you would start a large, raging fire or, for that matter, a furious and raging business....if that makes sense?!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So, read the masters of sales and enjoy the things you learn and the mastery you will gain by plugging in and learning from the masters of our industry such as Jim Rohn, Brian Tracy, Tom Hopkins, Mark Yarnell and many others.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Remember, you are the underdog and in order to win, you better be prepared, you better have your plan laid out. 99% of successful people have WRITTEN GOALS.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So then, doesn't it make sense to write down our goals? If we dance around this fact, we will never achieve our dreams and goals. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: black;"&gt;Forget the image of high pressure and simply follow this basic procedure and rules of thumb.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;ul style="color: #660000; font-weight: bold;"&gt;&lt;li&gt;Actually get started as a business partner. This is the most crucial step. Until you actually get started yourself....absolutely NOTHING is going to happen and that is guaranteed. However, when you do actually get started, NOW you have a chance. Now there is hope, a possibility, a light at the end of the tunnel. Until you buy your ticket, you'll never get on track and that is true with virtually any viable business.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;ul style="color: #660000; font-weight: bold;"&gt;&lt;li&gt;Start to think like a winner and write down your goals. This will solidify your plans. If you don't make a goalline...you won't know how, where or when to score....if that makes sense.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;ul style="color: #660000; font-weight: bold;"&gt;&lt;li&gt;Start a personal warm list - It would be senseless to ignore this step. No matter what business you start, you would at the very least let everyone you know about it right? Maybe you might not feel great about approaching your warm market, but is it really so hard if you word it just right? &lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;ul style="color: #660000; font-weight: bold;"&gt;&lt;li&gt;Say to people you know or anyone for that matter "Oh yeah, by the way, I just recently started a part time business...and I was just gonna ask (sound skeptical) if you might know anyone who would want a little information about saving or making money?" As if you don't expect them to know anyone, kind of like as if the chances would be slim....such as asking your neighbor if they have a special tool you could borrow and you hate to ask, you're sorry to bother, but "I don't suppose you have a shovel I could borrow by any chance could you?" - "I don't suppose you would care to save money on X services by chance would you?....I was just gonna ask if you'd want some free information?"&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;span style="color: black;"&gt;Start marketing using a process that gradually automates your system and methods. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: black;"&gt;In this business, your biggest asset, other than your own self, will be your phone. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: black;"&gt;You start your marketing effort with no cost and low cost methods if you are on a minimum budget. When it comes to marketing, you must think in terms of "massive exposure" and realize that overall, most people aren't going to be interested, your job is to just get the information to as many people as possible.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: black;"&gt;Getting this massive exposure can potentially cost a lot of money. So it is best to become a student of your profession in marketing so that you can learn how to market the most effectively.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: black;"&gt;In the beginning you are going to want to focus on your most immediately effective means of getting sales production so that you can have the revenue you need to survive as you start your business, so that you can focus. The most effective way to sell your product or service is in person with a direct approach.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The advantage is that, for it's effectiveness, it requires the least amount of preparation to execute. You simply get dressed, meet people, give presentations and do business. However, it can be time consuming and tedious to an extent and overall, will probably get you limited results. Unless you're super powerful in the area of public relations and public speaking, you will find that your presentations will have their limits.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: black;"&gt;So the idea is to start your business with this method in the very beginning, so that you have this base experience and you increase your chances of getting immediate sales. This would probably include your warm market.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: black;"&gt;The next level would be your telephone marketing and sales. This is not as effective as being there in person, however, it will often allow you to reach more people, more readily. For this reason, it is best to focus on niche topics. That would mean topics that are in demand and under served.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Take those specific, niche key words and phrases and use the same particular main key term that you are targeting as the very first and very last words in your press release, article, blog, social bookmark or general online posting of any sort.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The niche that I'm attempting to cover in this blog posting is "how to place keywords in a blog".&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I'm just going on tuition in this case just to get to the main goal in this case, which is to get a reasonable posting of some kind of value driven content online.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;As you learn and read and train more, your abilities and skills will improve, so don't get to bent on your technique as you just try to simply get some kind of content online. So make that main, big picture goal your main objective.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So remember, in this case, I want to focus well on the subject of blog keyword placement since this is essentially the overall topic I'm addressing in this blog posting. This is one major factor to telling Google or any other search engine or spider what your content is about.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;You'll also notice that I put additional tags or key phrases at the end of the article/blog posting in this case as I do with others. This is just an additional way to add variation to your main key phrases which will always be more specific phrases related to your main overall topics.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In this case, other variations of my main key phrase might be intuitive key phrases that other online content writers may type into a search engine when looking for content related to what I'm targeting.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Related key phrases might include things like blog search optimization, blog keyword placement, how to write a searchable blog, writing searchable content, how to place keywords in a blog&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;You'll notice my actual variations at the end of this blog posting and I will take advantage of every chance to post new related key phrases that I think are searchable.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Key phrases may be about generic niche topics or about specific niche topics.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Qualities of a good key phrase include but are not limited to:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1. Questions that are being asked online regularly, but may not have any good answers when searched such as "Spark plug firing sequence for ford truck" or "where to get old version of &lt;a href="http://www.skype.com/apps/tracking/commissionjunction.php?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Eskype%2Ecom%2Fgo%2Fsubscriptions%3Fcm%5Fmmc%3Daffiliate%2D%5F%2Dcommission%5Fjunction%2D%5F%2Dtext%2D%5F%2Dskype%5Fsubscriptions_pid=%zp"&gt;skype&lt;/a&gt;"&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;2. Good key phrases are usually compound words and phrases ranging from 2-7 words in length. They are lengthy enough to be specific, but short enough to get regular searches.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;3. Good key phrases are the ones that get you in the top 3 placement easily but at the same time get consistent searches. It is better to be on page 1 of the search results under a phrase such as "dental plans in los angeles" than to be on page 20 under a generic phrase like "dental plan", since hardly anyone will go past pages 1-3. It is best to be on page one, so you are the first thing a user sees when conducting their search. In this way you become the "internet authority" on what you are writing about.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;4. Good phrases may contain a specific piece of data such as the model number of some obscure item or merchandise that was popular say before the time of the internet.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;5. Good phrases may be related to recent news or say technological breakthrough or the coining of a new term or word in the realm of language, such as say when a new medical procedure is developed and a new word or term is invented to name it, this is a "rising keyword" which will be marketed in print and other media and will result in many fresh online searches for that term.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This is also related to headlines in the news. When a new story breaks on a national level, it's pretty easy to one of the first few people to write about it online. Think about say when major story just occurs. Then write your own collection of data and/or news information and post it using key phrases you intuitively think people will search for.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;6. A great example of a recent key word would be "octamom". If you just wrote an article or more with that word as soon as you heard about it on say CNN, then you would be poised to be one of the first people to write about it online, since there isn't really that much immediate competition.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Remember, the first and main goal is to actually write something.
