Lead producer script - Membership lead gathering

When you are trying to get product leads from the cold market, the first step is to get permission to give them more information. Do this by asking a simple benefit based question, such as:

Hello, my name is ___________, I'm an assistant for a legal network and I was calling/stopping by to ask if maybe anyone in your home has any legal issues you'd like to have cleared up if possible?

Ok, what we promote is a special legal membership program designed to provide legal and financial protection services and if it’s OK with you, we could just send you some more detailed information that you can look at on your own time…?

Ok and once again my name is ________________, may I ask your name?

OK that’s __________________....great! Now _________________, do you prefer to get the information by mail or is it easier to just get the information by email?

OK and so where would you like us to send that to?

Great! Now we like to get this information to everyone as soon as possible, but it can take some time to get the information, so in the meantime, I have a quick recorded message which explains how our membership works, if you have a pen and paper handy, I can give you the number real quick.... ?

Ok, the number is....

So please just listen to that message for 5 minutes tonight and I will call you back to make sure you got the information. Otherwise call me right back when you are ready to try our legal services...

(Direct them to recorded call, conference call, meeting, video etc)
(Tell them to keep their eyes and ears open for information about our legal benefits and other programs related to the companies you are promoting.)

Lead cultivation check points:

Get their first and last name
Get their phone number(s)
Get their email address
Get their home address
Get their current field of profession/skills
Clearly tell them your name
Clearly tell them your partners name
Leave them a flyer
Tell them to check their junk mail
Clearly tell them the company name

How to set up a 3 way call - Networking

When talking to new prospects for a home based business, you want to use your upline to help you with a 3 way call....this means positioning your prospect and setting the situation up to get your upline on the phone...use this strategy.

1. Always be the new guy or the recruiting assistant for your upline

2. Never claim to know everything about your business, always be the new guy.

3. Say "curiosity building statements" that gets prospect to ask you question.

4. Instead of answering their questions, instead say something like "You know, that is an excellent question and I wouldn't want to accidentally give you a wrong answer... in fact, I might have someone who knows about that...and if you just give me a quick moment, let me just see if he's available to give me an answer on that... if you just hold on the line for a moment, I'll just see if he's available....however it may take a moment, so don't hang up...just hold tight and I'll be right back with you, hopefully with an answer.

5. Make sure your prospect has heard or gotten at least some kind of general information before you go after the 3 way call....you're job is just to warm them up and then introduce them to your upline....gently but assuredly and professionally.

6. Remember to always be gentle and professional in every way.

7. Always edify your upline partner, make them sound like a great person that you are so grateful to have around because of their knowledge.

8. Introduce your upline and your new prospect with full names and explain just briefly what the questions/concerns are, but always be careful to only talk about objections that can be overcome... OBJECTIONS can be overcome, CONDITIONS are issues that can not be overcome... an objection may be "We want to think about it!" a condition is more like "I'm crippled and don't have a phone of my own to use"....those are things you may not so easily overcome....so be sure to differentiate between the two "excuses" for not participating.

Networking tools and training

Networking from home - How to track contacts and phone calls

Here are two very important, basic tools you can use to immediately to start building and tracking your list of contacts. Log and "cultivate" every contact that you make into your list. Your call log reminds you of all calls for the day and what happened on each call.

As we talk to those contacts, we always try to find out something new about them, such as other forms of contact like their email address or FAX, what they have done for a living and anything else that helps to create a better bond.

Use low cost, super effective marketing methods to initiate you business. As your business grows, steadily use some of your profits to leverage your marketing efforts. Remember, a huge budget is never required in order to get a bunch of warm bodies together ready to learn and perform like minded tasks such as a virtual business network like the Trilithon Business Network.

Use this prospect log page below to attract and log more calls and contacts on a daily basis.

Networking training - Recruiting new customers/partners

Network marketing training

Network marketing can be done a number of ways. What we are concerned about is what works. We are not worried about the way things should be. We are simply worried about the way things are.

We never prejudge contacts. We never know who will be interested.

We build a permanent list of contacts, cultivating additional information like email, fax number, skills and any other relevant information.

We constantly keep a heavy influx of new people calling/emailing in wanting information in response to a curiosity based advertisement that can be in a number of different forms, this is our marketing.

We respond to any inquiries as soon as possible and we simply get the email or fax so that we can send out the information.

We get a commitment from the prospect to review the information and we let them know we will be touching base with them with about 2-3 days just to make sure they got to see the information.

We send them a brief, enticing sizzle tool...such as a corporate video or pre recorded call.

We follow up and simply ask right away if they would like to get started. It don't have to be pushy, it can be friendly, no pressure.

We never underestimate the number of people you will need to talk to.

The more people receiving the information the better.

We contact new prospects about our product or business for at least 1 diligent hour per day...and remember, it does take work!

We treat it like a serious telemarketing job while we are actually working. In other words, we make goals and achieve them. We make goals like dialing say 50 phone numbers or having say 3-5 good conversations.

We don't expect to be great overnight, we understand that we need to train. To earn professional incomes, we have to read professional materials and listen to professionals speak.

We not only listen to the greatest salespeople, we also copy them word for word, nuance for nuance. We simply copy the voice tone, speech and wording of the masters such as Donald Trump or Jim Rohn for example.

We heavily invite people to company business briefings and events. If we have a local meeting, we attend that meeting every week and we try to participate in at least a small part of the meeting.

If we have no meeting in our area, we hold a small local meeting at say a coffee shop like Starbucks for instance. We invite as many people as we can to meet with us and we use a basic flip chart to give a basic presentation.

We maintain integrity and we treat every invitation like an appointment. We understand that many appointments will fall through, we expect the best results, but we prepare for the worst.

We never underestimate the number of people we will need to talk to!!

We use and explore our products whenever possible to know everything about them and how to save money with them.

We learn every detail there is about our compensation plan and our bonus structure. When it comes to compensation, knowledge is power.

We visualize and plan out the process of enroll new customers. We make sure we understand every step needed to be taken in order to process our business.

We plus into conference calls, if for nothing else, to check in an announce that we were there.

We invite as many people to the conference calls each day as possible, especially when, they can't be at a meeting or briefing.

We use local briefings and meetings, at the same time, we realize that business can be done all completely from home using the phone and/or internet only if we choose to do so.

We make notes about every call that we're on throughout the day either using a paper call log sheet or noting results on the "contact card" in our contact management system.

When people call us, we call them back as soon as possible to attempt to get the some immediate information, if we don't get an answer, we generally don't leave any message unless it really calls for it, we simply try to call back the next day, if no answer, then call back in 3-7 days and follow up every 5-7 days until you get an answer.

We are persistent, we are defiant, we think well outside the box, we are innovative.

We are always thinking of new ways to get a lot of new inquiries to send out some information to.

We use curiosity based marketing tools with vague, enticing messages and direct points of inquiry like a toll free phone number that captures every phone number or an internet squeeze page that a person can read and the submit their name, phone number and email in exchange for say a "free gift" or the like.

Our goal is to cultivate a huge list of contacts that we have at least some kind of limited relationship with regardless of our business. In other words, by expanding and building are "warm market", we then have a warm market to work with.

We keep our warm market updated with the latest products and opportunities we have.

We realize that our main asset is our ability to help enough other people get what they want.

People want attention. People want to feel important. People want to know their opinion matters. Online, people want to know you are real...period!

We realize that before we can exude confidence with anything, we must study it.

Study your compensation plan and know everything there is to know.

We use our upline sponsor to help us with presentation and anything else within reason to get the job done. They might want to help you more than you do! Help them by staying in close contact.

We realize that during the rise of people in business, we can only expect to be successful if we spend time talking and hanging with those people who want the same things we want.

We focus on at least 3 serious conversations per day...if we are super serious, we go beyond that.

We are fierce, determined, goal oriented, we have strong desire, we have vision, we keep our business plan simple and effective.

If nothing else, we work for at least 60 minutes a day.

And finally, we never underestimate the number of people we are gonna need to talk to!

Micah Carter

Sponsoring phone script for networkers

How to sponsor new business partners in networking opportunities

Recruiting Script

I. Introduction
* ONLY IF OUTGOING CALL OR APPROACH

“Hello, my name is YOUR NAME. I’m a recruiting assistant for a legal network and I was just calling/stopping to ask if maybe you could use an extra $2 or 300 a week working from home?”

“Ok and my name is ______, may I ask your name?”

* ONLY IF INCOMING CALL

“Hello, this is _________, how may I help you?”

“Ok and may I ask your name?”

“OK and in case we get disconnected, what is the best number to reach you at?”

(Get NAME, PHONE NUMBER)

II. Briefing

What we do is set you up with your own (insurance) business. Does that sound like something you'd be interested in?

Great! We provide legal services and identity theft protection to our customers. We currently have about (X number) customers, but we are also growing at a record pace. So we are looking for associates who can immediately start marketing our services in your area and maybe even become a manager. So does that sound like a service you could tell people about?

Ok great! Like any business, you determine your own schedule, you can work as little or as much as you like. Are you OK with that?

Associates usually start part time and earn between $500-1,000 the first month. However, many associates earn over $100K a year. Would that help with some of your financial goals?

III. Money qualifier

“ OK, great! This is a very lucrative opportunity, but it’s not a job, it’s a business and just like any business you start on your own, there is some initial investment required.”

(Wait for them to ask how much, if they answer negative, just offer to send some info by email or fax or mail if you have to.)

“Start up cost is $X. So I got to ask, if you did like the particulars to the business, would $X be within your reach?”

“Ok great! That pays for everything you need to get starting, including product brochures and fully automated website.

IV. Company and product

"Have you ever heard of Pre Paid Legal services before?"

"Pre Paid Legal is a 37 year old New York Stock Exchange company. We are members of the Better Business Bureau and many other associations.”

“Instead of leaving most people out of the legal system, Pre Paid Legal provides potentially unlimited legal counsel and services directly from a professional law firm for a low monthly membership. There is no contract and the service works well with individuals and business owners."

"Pre Paid Legal members can talk to an attorney to ask questions, receive legal advice and it's perfect for situations where people are being treated unfairly. Things like wrongful traffic tickets, not getting a refund or replacement at a store, problems with the IRS or real estate problems."

“Now to have an attorney on call at any time to help with legal matters and review important documents is an indispensable service and to have such a service could cost a lot of money. However, Pre Paid Legal has pooled the buying power of our members by paying 1/3 of all membership fees directly to provider law firms for preventative legal services to our customers. At $36 a month or less, our service is affordable and we are currently getting over 50,000 new customers a month and we just had our best year in business.”

“There is no experience needed and you can work from wherever you like. As for the income potential, Pre Paid Legal has many success stories and has paid out hundreds of millions of dollars to associates in the field. So I got to ask, if the compensation plan was lucrative and the company was reputable, do you see any reason why you wouldn't want to get started on something like this?” (Pause, allow them room to breath)

V. Compensation

“Great, now there’s 2 ways to earn income with Pre Paid Legal. One way to get paid is from personal sales and the other way is through overrides and bonuses.”

“Our flagship product is a $36 membership with a one time $10 registration fee...a total of $46 to the customer. On that little $46 transaction, the very minimum amount you will earn is $34.50 and you can even have it wired directly into your bank account the next day. You’ll also continue to earn repeat commissions for the life of the customer as they renew their membership.”

“You also have the opportunity to act as a broker, such as a real estate or insurance broker has licensed agents who market and sell services and the broker earns overrides. You can also earn overrides on the sales made by other associate members that join Pre Paid Legal as your associate partners.”

“Let’s keep it simple and say just one of your clients also wants to sell the membership to make some money too. You start building a team and you get promoted, then your compensation will immediately double, going up from $34.50 to $69 and then it doubles again to $138 per sale and all the way up to over $250 directly into your bank account as soon as the next day for each membership you personally market.”

“Now, just say you’re just a manager, which is very attainable. When you are a manager, any new associate in your group will earn you an override of $103 whenever they market a membership.”

“Let’s just say that you have 3 new associates who are just marketing 10 memberships per week between the 3 of them. Just multiply $103 times 10 and you can do the math. If they market 10 memberships each, that’s $103 times 30. You do the math, that's over $3,000...and you weren’t even there!”

“The best part about this plan is that many of our customers and partners stay with us and this translates into permanent residual monthly income for you, meaning that income will continue to come in and be paid on membership renewals long after you done sitting under a palm tree, if that makes sense?!”

"Great and so one of the best things about going into business with Pre Paid Legal is that we give you all the training and tools you need to start your business successfully."

"You will also have access to a contact management system that will help your business grow quick and run smoothly, sending out automated email campaigns and tracking the traffic to your website. The tools will take most of the selling out of the picture, so you can focus on sharing the information with new people."

VI. Close

“Getting started as a member or as a business owner is easy. The most popular option is to just get started with our fast start associate program. This program allows you the opportunity to make cash faster by getting you promoted faster.”

“When you submit your associate application, methods of payment accepted include bank account or major credit or debit card. Your application usually takes about a day to process completely. Once it’s submitted, your account is activated, your websites are set up and you can start your training and you can start submitting new business immediately.”

“In addition to that, we also ship your member package to your home with all the information you need to use our provider law firms for your own legal needs within a few short business days.”

“So, when you get started, would you be willing to work at least an extra 5-10 hours a week to start your business part time?”

“Great! So if you see the benefits and you like the idea of having your own business, all we would need is a little basic information from you and we can get you set up right away and we can even help walk you through the entire process!” (Pause)

“Keep in mind, this program is not for everyone. It’s mainly only for people who want to make more money working primarily from home. There’s nothing complicated training needed and anyone can do this. When someone tries our membership, they just complete a one page application and you can do business in person, through FAX and on the internet, so it’s simple.”

“The best part about the income is that it’s residual which can allow you to have the time and freedom to spend doing personal things that you really enjoy. Now I don’t now how important your personal time is to you….but if it is important to you, I’m sure you can see the benefits to having residual income, right?”

“Now what I can promise you is that Pre Paid Legal will provide you with a strong, solid foundation which to build your business on, so that you have the best chance of success and in order to get started, all I would need from you is a little bit of basic information starting with the address you would like to have your initial business owner kit and welcome package sent to.”

“How would you handle the initial investment?”

(At any time during the conversation, especially when the prospect ask questions, tell them that you have a manager or director who may be able to give the most accurate answer and share his experience with Pre Paid Legal, “If you just hold on the line a moment, I’ll see if he/she is available…!” Speak highly of your upline and dial in to a three way call with your upline for maximum credibility with your new prospect.)

Home based business training - Networking business model

Home Based Business

I was just writing a little bit of a quick note here just to invite you to call me if you want or need any support.

I brought you into this business to teach you the methods I'm using to have success

At the same time, I can't really chase anyone down and make them work

My question is if you are really serious about making an immediate change in your finances?

Because if you are, that's what I'm here to help you do

Remember, DO NOT COMPLICATE your business!

It's simple, invite people to get free information on how they can save or make a little extra income part time.

It's a numbers game and the only way you get good at it is to run the numbers.

Do not present the program. Invite people to talk with me or your next upline manager/director!

We are both here to do nothing but help you grow your business for obvious reasons.

Our success is entirely dependent on your success.

There is no one secret to this business. It takes hard, diligent work.

However, that is work reduced in as short a time as you like.

This is network marketing, we are in business to make money and we do that by expanding our sales force and sharing the profit.

Now's the time to bring these benefits to the marketplace with a super serious passion.

Now's the time to become a superstar

Now's the time to start changing your thinking, your methods and recognizing how far reaching your limitations really are.

Now's the time to learn a revolutionary new business model that allows virtually anyone anywhere to start having success

This is a real business that sells a real product.

Your company is just the product, we are the marketing force.

We are the group of dynamic individuals who bring this product to the market.

It's kind of like every Ford dealership sells the same cars. We all sell the same product.

It's sold to us at wholesale and we sell it at a marked up price. We sell it alone or in conjunction with any other products or services

We are just the owner of our own dealership from day one.

We are in business for ourselves and our results are totally dependent on us

See, the key to having success here is DUPLICATION

And you must know what your goals are!

You must know what it is you need to be duplicating

With your company, you make your first promotion pin with just a few sales generally

Once you have achieved this first goal, this proves that you
have what it takes, you know what to do and you now have
the capability to show someone else how to do it since you
just did it yourself.

When you recruit just a handful of other serious business partners who
go out and get their handful of sales then you will qualify for
another promotion, which usually means more income.

Always here to help,

Your friend and partner,
Micah Carter

Using signage to get immediate high response to your recruiting and enrolling efforts

So you want exposure for your new home based business. But you don't want to spend much on advertising cost, right?

This is why signs and posters can be so beneficial when starting your business.

To get a good response, you want to have a lot of exposure and one way to do that is to make a large type, clearly printed sign or poster and place it in a high traffic area.

Here's what you need.

1. 11x17 inch card stock paper - This paper can be found a la carte at some copy shops, however, it is often hard to find in some areas. If you live in or around Orange County, CA, you can buy this paper at at place called Kellys Paper in Huntington Beach. They have other locations as well and they can be reached by dialing them direct. They specialize in many types of paper. 11x17 card stock cost about $20 for 250 sheets, so you figure that's less that 10 cents each.

Aside from Kelly Paper, you can also get this particular card stock paper 1 sheet at a time at some copy shops, such as Copy 4 Less in Huntington Beach and other parts of Orange County, CA. The contact info for Copy 4 Less in listed further below.

Kelly Paper
7391 Count Circle
Huntington Beach, CA 92647-4551
(714) 596-6661

2. The next thing you want to have in place is your master copy of your sign content. You can use a number of different wordings for your product or business to inspire people to call you just to get the free information. You can use a template or you can just create new sign of your own in a program such as MS Word.

3. Take them to the copy shop and get copies blown up from a standard size sheet to the 11x17 sheet and you may need to experiment to get the sign the way you want it to appear on the card stock poster paper.

Best copy prices in Orange County include different branches of Copy 4 Less shown below.

Copy 4 Less
18828 Brookhurst St
Fountain Valley, CA 92708
(714) 375-5838

4. Once you have made the signs and you are ready to post them, be sure to buy an inexpensive staple gun from a Home Depot or Lowes for instance. Use it to staple the sign to wooden surfaces and other such surfaces.

TIPS

-Post your signs in highly visible areas, preferably in the early morning hours for 30 minutes to no more than 2 hours at a time. You can start a round at say 6, 7 or 8 am and beat the heavier traffic when scouting out good, high visibility locations such as major intersections and the such.

-Don't over-do your signage in any one area. You don't want anyone in the community to have a reason to resent you and your signs because, say, you're posting too many of them.

-"Crimp" the signs as you post them. Place 2 staples near the top middle, 2 near the center middle and two at the bottom middle for a stable hold. Crimping the signs as you post them to keep them from being "flat" where they can be more easily blow around by wind and the like.

-Always as yourself "Is it visible?". In other words, will a reasonable amount of people see it?

-Using an Earnware Toll Free phone number, you have the ability to capture every single phone number who calls it, so that you won't miss the chance to get back to anyone. Also, you have the ability to block any numbers that you don't want to receive calls from.

You must have the eye of the tiger

Remember, when it comes to network marketing, you don't want to take it lightly.

As a new business partner in this industry, you don't want to let the game of chance play with your future!

You want to make solid progress and you want to make sure you accomplish your goals on a daily basis.

To do this, it's going to take something more than the average person has.

It takes a strong desire to accomplish your goals no matter what. If that means making do with what you got, then so be it.

Don't get caught in the trap of telling yourself you're going to wait until the conditions are just right. In fact, the conditions may never be as good again as they are right now.

Become a professional at what you do.

Study and train, quickly, passionately. Read books by the best marketers, copy and emulate the exact words that they say and the things that they do.

Listen to and copy, word for word, the exact wording and phrasing being used by leaders in our industry and become a professional actor, a professional duplicator, a professional provider of information and an active mover, shaker and closer.

This means that you must talk to a vast number of people quickly. You must start each day with a super powerful motivation and eagerness to live the life of your dreams.

Don't expect network marketing to be easy. Don't expect it to just start happening and for things to change without you making changes.

This means getting down to the nitty-gritty. Getting down to business. All B.S. aside. It's time to get on the phone. If for no more than at least the very minimum of 1 hour at a time to start.

This will warm you up and allow you to get the marbles out of your mouth. It will allow you a baby step. It is better to practice crawling before we try to walk, because otherwise we take a hard fall and get discouraged.

Also, we may not have a bunch of leads to start with. We not have a fresh list of interested people to call. After all, if this was easy, do you think it would be such a great opportunity? No, however it is simple. You can learn it...anyone can, however, it's kind of like starting a fire with 2 sticks. Unless you are taught a proven technique by someone who already knows what they are doing, it may be a long time if you ever figure out how to make fire by yourself.

And just like starting a fire with sticks, starting a network marketing business takes some serious determination and a focus on technique, however if you read and studied a proven method and you learned and duplicated every little nuance and then applied it consistently, wouldn't that drastically increase the odds that you would start a large, raging fire or, for that matter, a furious and raging business....if that makes sense?!

So, read the masters of sales and enjoy the things you learn and the mastery you will gain by plugging in and learning from the masters of our industry such as Jim Rohn, Brian Tracy, Tom Hopkins, Mark Yarnell and many others.

Remember, you are the underdog and in order to win, you better be prepared, you better have your plan laid out. 99% of successful people have WRITTEN GOALS.

So then, doesn't it make sense to write down our goals? Doesn't it make sense to keep track of some basic statistics?

Marketing tips - The key to marketing your business is getting started

What you will have to do to be successful starting from scratch with this business!

Many people start out their network marketing business with little knowledge of what it takes to have success in this industry.

Bottom line, it takes sales transactions. If we dance around this fact, we will never achieve our dreams and goals.

Forget the image of high pressure and simply follow this basic procedure and rules of thumb.

  • Actually get started as a business partner. This is the most crucial step. Until you actually get started yourself....absolutely NOTHING is going to happen and that is guaranteed. However, when you do actually get started, NOW you have a chance. Now there is hope, a possibility, a light at the end of the tunnel. Until you buy your ticket, you'll never get on track and that is true with virtually any viable business.
  • Start to think like a winner and write down your goals. This will solidify your plans. If you don't make a goalline...you won't know how, where or when to score....if that makes sense.
  • Start a personal warm list - It would be senseless to ignore this step. No matter what business you start, you would at the very least let everyone you know about it right? Maybe you might not feel great about approaching your warm market, but is it really so hard if you word it just right?
  • Say to people you know or anyone for that matter "Oh yeah, by the way, I just recently started a part time business...and I was just gonna ask (sound skeptical) if you might know anyone who would want a little information about saving or making money?" As if you don't expect them to know anyone, kind of like as if the chances would be slim....such as asking your neighbor if they have a special tool you could borrow and you hate to ask, you're sorry to bother, but "I don't suppose you have a shovel I could borrow by any chance could you?" - "I don't suppose you would care to save money on X services by chance would you?....I was just gonna ask if you'd want some free information?"
Start marketing using a process that gradually automates your system and methods.

In this business, your biggest asset, other than your own self, will be your phone.

You start your marketing effort with no cost and low cost methods if you are on a minimum budget. When it comes to marketing, you must think in terms of "massive exposure" and realize that overall, most people aren't going to be interested, your job is to just get the information to as many people as possible.

Getting this massive exposure can potentially cost a lot of money. So it is best to become a student of your profession in marketing so that you can learn how to market the most effectively.

In the beginning you are going to want to focus on your most immediately effective means of getting sales production so that you can have the revenue you need to survive as you start your business, so that you can focus. The most effective way to sell your product or service is in person with a direct approach.

The advantage is that, for it's effectiveness, it requires the least amount of preparation to execute. You simply get dressed, meet people, give presentations and do business. However, it can be time consuming and tedious to an extent and overall, will probably get you limited results. Unless you're super powerful in the area of public relations and public speaking, you will find that your presentations will have their limits.

So the idea is to start your business with this method in the very beginning, so that you have this base experience and you increase your chances of getting immediate sales. This would probably include your warm market.

The next level would be your telephone marketing and sales. This is not as effective as being there in person, however, it will often allow you to reach more people, more readily. You can simply pick up the phone and dial.

The next level is response based and there are several ways you can use this.
It includes marketing pieces, print, copy and other exposure that calls the prospect to simply get more information.

This would include marketing tools that allow you to build a permanent database of contacts and potential prospects such as:

  • Fliers of various shapes and sizes
  • Signage - Placing signs in busy and heavily trafficked locations can be extremely effective
  • Business cards that tell people what you do
  • Free and low cost, curiosity building, online and offline classified ads with text and/or images
  • Online or offline video presentation tools
  • Opt in forms of all kinds including promotions such as contest, free information and such
  • Posters and indoor and/or outdoor stands/displays, manned or unmanned offering free information about your product or service
  • Free and paid online and offline press releases/social bookmarks/networks
Use these main methods to produce incoming calls/emails/fax in HIGH VOLUME, so that you can spend the majority of your time simply getting important free information quickly to those who are interested and have requested or opted to receive it.

To take this a step further, you start building your GENERAL NETWORK. People that listen to and are receptive and/or mindful of what you have to say.

From there you build a BUSINESS NETWORK. This is the portion of your general network that does business with you in some way. These are your business partners.

You constantly cultivate and expand these networks as they will be with you for life and will become your "channel" viewers if that makes sense. This way you can always be there, connected to these people in case they ever have a need for your services. The lowest cost ways to keep in touch with these network members include email, then phone, then fax, then mail, then in person. However the more you commit to each contact, the more meaningful that relationship will be.

At the same time, you only have so much time in a day/week/life. So you then have to make decisions as to who the most powerful and meaningful people in your network are and spend your time with those. The rest, you constantly invite to learn more about how they can improve their lives with your methods, ideas and perspectives.

Remember, the key is to getting started. It's what you do now, that will determine where you'll be tomorrow.

Network marketing training - Things that a successful network marketer would do!

Network marketing training - How to recruit, train and motivate in an MLM

Micah Carter here,

5 rules of thumb in networking

1. Run the numbers - Expect to give information about your product or business to a lot of people. You must know ahead of time that most people you talk to will probably not be interested, at least on the first contact. So you want to think massive and inexpensive when it comes to marketing.

2. Third party presentation materials - Use one of several main, basic forms of contact on a daily basic for at least a full hour or more. This would include personally telling someone about the program in person or over the phone, inviting some to a third party presentation including meetings or briefings, 3 way or prerecorded call, video or otherwise. Follow up with a contact including phone and/or email just to "Give a little more free information!"

3. Be a team player - You can't get anywhere trying to do it alone. It's better to be a small part of something big than a big part of something small. Use your upline/mentor/sponsor to help you give presentations and answer questions.

4. Emulate and duplicate - Just as an actor learns every nuance of their role down to voice inflection and body language, you need to learn exactly what a successful person does and emulate it.

5. Be a student of your profession - Do anything within your power to absorb more information, more wisdom, more experience. Think of every thing you do as a chance to learn something new. Read in depth and or skim through any information you can, listen to audio recordings of a wide variety of training and motivation that will constantly be taking you to new levels of control over your own life.

How to place keywords in a blog - Internet advertising techniques

Placing keywords in blogs and keyword writing and web content writing technique is a widely searched and studied subject.

The truth is, free online article submission is a very competitive area. For this reason, it is best to focus on niche topics. That would mean topics that are in demand and under served.

Take those specific, niche key words and phrases and use the same particular main key term that you are targeting as the very first and very last words in your press release, article, blog, social bookmark or general online posting of any sort.

The niche that I'm attempting to cover in this blog posting is "how to place keywords in a blog".

I'm just going on tuition in this case just to get to the main goal in this case, which is to get a reasonable posting of some kind of value driven content online.

As you learn and read and train more, your abilities and skills will improve, so don't get to bent on your technique as you just try to simply get some kind of content online. So make that main, big picture goal your main objective.

So remember, in this case, I want to focus well on the subject of blog keyword placement since this is essentially the overall topic I'm addressing in this blog posting. This is one major factor to telling Google or any other search engine or spider what your content is about.

You'll also notice that I put additional tags or key phrases at the end of the article/blog posting in this case as I do with others. This is just an additional way to add variation to your main key phrases which will always be more specific phrases related to your main overall topics.

In this case, other variations of my main key phrase might be intuitive key phrases that other online content writers may type into a search engine when looking for content related to what I'm targeting.

Related key phrases might include things like blog search optimization, blog keyword placement, how to write a searchable blog, writing searchable content, how to place keywords in a blog

You'll notice my actual variations at the end of this blog posting and I will take advantage of every chance to post new related key phrases that I think are searchable.

Key phrases may be about generic niche topics or about specific niche topics.

Qualities of a good key phrase include but are not limited to:

1. Questions that are being asked online regularly, but may not have any good answers when searched such as "Spark plug firing sequence for ford truck" or "where to get old version of skype"

2. Good key phrases are usually compound words and phrases ranging from 2-7 words in length. They are lengthy enough to be specific, but short enough to get regular searches.

3. Good key phrases are the ones that get you in the top 3 placement easily but at the same time get consistent searches. It is better to be on page 1 of the search results under a phrase such as "dental plans in los angeles" than to be on page 20 under a generic phrase like "dental plan", since hardly anyone will go past pages 1-3. It is best to be on page one, so you are the first thing a user sees when conducting their search. In this way you become the "internet authority" on what you are writing about.

4. Good phrases may contain a specific piece of data such as the model number of some obscure item or merchandise that was popular say before the time of the internet.

5. Good phrases may be related to recent news or say technological breakthrough or the coining of a new term or word in the realm of language, such as say when a new medical procedure is developed and a new word or term is invented to name it, this is a "rising keyword" which will be marketed in print and other media and will result in many fresh online searches for that term.

This is also related to headlines in the news. When a new story breaks on a national level, it's pretty easy to one of the first few people to write about it online. Think about say when major story just occurs. Then write your own collection of data and/or news information and post it using key phrases you intuitively think people will search for.

6. A great example of a recent key word would be "octamom". If you just wrote an article or more with that word as soon as you heard about it on say CNN, then you would be poised to be one of the first people to write about it online, since there isn't really that much immediate competition.

Remember, the first and main goal is to actually write something. Don't get too caught up technique that you don't get anything actually done.

Hopefully this will give you some ideas on how to get more targeted, search engine traffic from the organic search results of Google and other search engines.

I was just calling back to see if maybe you still had an eye out for ways to make some extra income?

Great, now unfortunately, I have a lot of people to get back with today, so if it's ok with you, I can just send you a little info you can look at on your own time if you have fax or email...?!"

"Ok, great, where would you like me to send that to?"

How to leave a message on voicemail systems and answering machines about your business

Use this message when calling people on the phone. You may need to alter it slightly according to the exact nature of the call.

Hello, this is ______________, I'm a recruiting assistant ...and I was just returning a quick call here about work or business.

If you would still like information on that, you can call us back at __________ (Speak very clear and say number slowly)

In the meantime, I invite you to get more information by simply listening to a short recorded message/live conference by dialing ______________ (phone number and passcode).

*Optional - The time for this special call is... (Day, Date, Time), there's gonna be other people on the line, so I suggest being on 5 minutes early.*

I can't tell you how important this information is if you're looking for a way to make some serious extra income.

So please listen in and give me a call back if I can help!

As always, your participation is greatly appreciate, so you have a great day and I really hope we hear you on that call!

This is a more response based, curiosity building message.

When you are calling back first contacts who may have simply dialed in and then hung up or perhaps left a message, you are making a first attempt to give them information on your company or business. Once this call is over, unless you have got that person very excited, the chances of them signing up as business partners or customers even is pretty low until you can substantiate your claims!

Ever been told, "It sounds too good to be true!"?

This is what many people are thinking to themselves when they hear about a home based network marketing opportunity. This is why real testimonials and personal experience are so important. You'll sell the product by using the product and you'll you'll recruit the partners when you can effectively sell the product if that makes sense.

Master the art of pitching your product and then pitching the opportunity will become easy. Pitching the opportunities you have is going to have more and more conviction as your personal income grows.

That is why it's very important in the beginning to not worry about second round call backs until your story changes a little bit in some why substantial.

If I tell John about a business and he don't decide to get started fairly quick (no more than 3 days), then he probably isn't going to sign up until you can show him that you are making significant process. So don't bother calling him back until you get promoted. In the meantime, do everything you can to progress your story....if you have a good week and you make a few hundred dollars or if you just get promoted or you save a lot of money with your product and have an incredible testimonial, then you go ahead and call former contacts back tell update them and see if they still "Could use and extra $2-300 a week working from home part time."

This is why it's important to "strike while the irons hot" and get these people as much info and introduction to your business as possible in the first 1-3 days.

If it goes beyond that, you are spinning your wheels. Remember, it all comes down to averages. The more people you talk to overall, the more sales you make. So always keep talking to someone new. Call back your "hot list" when you make a significant leap in your story or testimony.
