Marketing training - Cultivate lead script/Get email

Use this script when calling people back on the phone. You may need to alter it slightly according to the exact nature of the call.

Hello, this is ______________, I'm a recruiting assistant with a _________ company and I was just returning a quick call here about work or business.

I was just calling back to see if maybe you still had an eye out for ways to make some extra income?

And once again, my name is __________, may I ask your name.

Great, now unfortunately, I have a lot of people to get back with today, so if it's ok with you, I can just send you a little info you can look at on your own time if you have fax or email...?!"

"Ok, great, where would you like me to send that to?"

Ok ________, make sure you check your junk mail if you don't see the information right away. In the meantime, you can get more information online or by simply listening to a short recorded message about the program...and I can give you that website and phone number if you have a pen and paper handy...?

Ok the phone number to listen to is ___________ and the website is ____________. (Speak slow, clear, make sure they have the right info)

Let me give you one more phone number as well...it's my direct line... it's __________

I can't tell you how important this information is, you absolutely have to hear it.

When you're done listening, give us a quick call back and me or my partner will answer your questions. Fair enough?

Also, you're invited to come meet with us and just get some more information at our next business briefing on (day) at (time) and while you're writing, I can give you that address real quick in case you are able to pop by. Are you ready?

(Give address, describe location, cross streets, where you will be seated, what you look like, tell them to call if they have problems, remind them to be there 5 minutes early if they can however it's also better to be late then never.)

Ok great,
so we hope to hear from you soon...in the meantime, make sure you get to listen to that call....I can't tell you how important it is that you listen to that you get all of the information...if that makes sense?!

How to leave a message on voicemail systems and answering machines about your business

Use this message when calling people on the phone. You may need to alter it slightly according to the exact nature of the call.

Hello, this is ______________, I'm a recruiting assistant ...and I was just returning a quick call here about work or business.

If you would still like information on that, you can call us back at __________ (Speak very clear and say number slowly)

In the meantime, I invite you to get more information by simply listening to a short recorded message/live conference by dialing ______________ (phone number and passcode).

*Optional - The time for this special call is... (Day, Date, Time), there's gonna be other people on the line, so I suggest being on 5 minutes early.*

I can't tell you how important this information is if you're looking for a way to make some serious extra income.

So please listen in and give me a call back if I can help!

As always, your participation is greatly appreciate, so you have a great day and I really hope we hear you on that call!

This is a more response based, curiosity building message.

When you are calling back first contacts who may have simply dialed in and then hung up or perhaps left a message, you are making a first attempt to give them information on your company or business. Once this call is over, unless you have got that person very excited, the chances of them signing up as business partners or customers even is pretty low until you can substantiate your claims!

Ever been told, "It sounds too good to be true!"?

This is what many people are thinking to themselves when they hear about a home based network marketing opportunity. This is why real testimonials and personal experience are so important. You'll sell the product by using the product and you'll you'll recruit the partners when you can effectively sell the product if that makes sense.

Master the art of pitching your product and then pitching the opportunity will become easy. Pitching the opportunities you have is going to have more and more conviction as your personal income grows.

That is why it's very important in the beginning to not worry about second round call backs until your story changes a little bit in some why substantial.

If I tell John about a business and he don't decide to get started fairly quick (no more than 3 days), then he probably isn't going to sign up until you can show him that you are making significant process. So don't bother calling him back until you get promoted. In the meantime, do everything you can to progress your story....if you have a good week and you make a few hundred dollars or if you just get promoted or you save a lot of money with your product and have an incredible testimonial, then you go ahead and call former contacts back tell update them and see if they still "Could use and extra $2-300 a week working from home part time."

This is why it's important to "strike while the irons hot" and get these people as much info and introduction to your business as possible in the first 1-3 days.

If it goes beyond that, you are spinning your wheels. Remember, it all comes down to averages. The more people you talk to overall, the more sales you make. So always keep talking to someone new. Call back your "hot list" when you make a significant leap in your story or testimony.
