Networking tools and training

Networking from home - How to track contacts and phone calls

Here are two very important, basic tools you can use to immediately to start building and tracking your list of contacts. Log and "cultivate" every contact that you make into your list. Your call log reminds you of all calls for the day and what happened on each call.

As we talk to those contacts, we always try to find out something new about them, such as other forms of contact like their email address or FAX, what they have done for a living and anything else that helps to create a better bond.

Use low cost, super effective marketing methods to initiate you business. As your business grows, steadily use some of your profits to leverage your marketing efforts. Remember, a huge budget is never required in order to get a bunch of warm bodies together ready to learn and perform like minded tasks such as a virtual business network like the Trilithon Business Network.

Use this prospect log page below to attract and log more calls and contacts on a daily basis.

Networking training - Recruiting new customers/partners

Network marketing training

Network marketing can be done a number of ways. What we are concerned about is what works. We are not worried about the way things should be. We are simply worried about the way things are.

We never prejudge contacts. We never know who will be interested.

We build a permanent list of contacts, cultivating additional information like email, fax number, skills and any other relevant information.

We constantly keep a heavy influx of new people calling/emailing in wanting information in response to a curiosity based advertisement that can be in a number of different forms, this is our marketing.

We respond to any inquiries as soon as possible and we simply get the email or fax so that we can send out the information.

We get a commitment from the prospect to review the information and we let them know we will be touching base with them with about 2-3 days just to make sure they got to see the information.

We send them a brief, enticing sizzle tool...such as a corporate video or pre recorded call.

We follow up and simply ask right away if they would like to get started. It don't have to be pushy, it can be friendly, no pressure.

We never underestimate the number of people you will need to talk to.

The more people receiving the information the better.

We contact new prospects about our product or business for at least 1 diligent hour per day...and remember, it does take work!

We treat it like a serious telemarketing job while we are actually working. In other words, we make goals and achieve them. We make goals like dialing say 50 phone numbers or having say 3-5 good conversations.

We don't expect to be great overnight, we understand that we need to train. To earn professional incomes, we have to read professional materials and listen to professionals speak.

We not only listen to the greatest salespeople, we also copy them word for word, nuance for nuance. We simply copy the voice tone, speech and wording of the masters such as Donald Trump or Jim Rohn for example.

We heavily invite people to company business briefings and events. If we have a local meeting, we attend that meeting every week and we try to participate in at least a small part of the meeting.

If we have no meeting in our area, we hold a small local meeting at say a coffee shop like Starbucks for instance. We invite as many people as we can to meet with us and we use a basic flip chart to give a basic presentation.

We maintain integrity and we treat every invitation like an appointment. We understand that many appointments will fall through, we expect the best results, but we prepare for the worst.

We never underestimate the number of people we will need to talk to!!

We use and explore our products whenever possible to know everything about them and how to save money with them.

We learn every detail there is about our compensation plan and our bonus structure. When it comes to compensation, knowledge is power.

We visualize and plan out the process of enroll new customers. We make sure we understand every step needed to be taken in order to process our business.

We plus into conference calls, if for nothing else, to check in an announce that we were there.

We invite as many people to the conference calls each day as possible, especially when, they can't be at a meeting or briefing.

We use local briefings and meetings, at the same time, we realize that business can be done all completely from home using the phone and/or internet only if we choose to do so.

We make notes about every call that we're on throughout the day either using a paper call log sheet or noting results on the "contact card" in our contact management system.

When people call us, we call them back as soon as possible to attempt to get the some immediate information, if we don't get an answer, we generally don't leave any message unless it really calls for it, we simply try to call back the next day, if no answer, then call back in 3-7 days and follow up every 5-7 days until you get an answer.

We are persistent, we are defiant, we think well outside the box, we are innovative.

We are always thinking of new ways to get a lot of new inquiries to send out some information to.

We use curiosity based marketing tools with vague, enticing messages and direct points of inquiry like a toll free phone number that captures every phone number or an internet squeeze page that a person can read and the submit their name, phone number and email in exchange for say a "free gift" or the like.

Our goal is to cultivate a huge list of contacts that we have at least some kind of limited relationship with regardless of our business. In other words, by expanding and building are "warm market", we then have a warm market to work with.

We keep our warm market updated with the latest products and opportunities we have.

We realize that our main asset is our ability to help enough other people get what they want.

People want attention. People want to feel important. People want to know their opinion matters. Online, people want to know you are real...period!

We realize that before we can exude confidence with anything, we must study it.

Study your compensation plan and know everything there is to know.

We use our upline sponsor to help us with presentation and anything else within reason to get the job done. They might want to help you more than you do! Help them by staying in close contact.

We realize that during the rise of people in business, we can only expect to be successful if we spend time talking and hanging with those people who want the same things we want.

We focus on at least 3 serious conversations per day...if we are super serious, we go beyond that.

We are fierce, determined, goal oriented, we have strong desire, we have vision, we keep our business plan simple and effective.

If nothing else, we work for at least 60 minutes a day.

And finally, we never underestimate the number of people we are gonna need to talk to!
